7-DAY FLORENCE TOUR
Day 1: ARRIVAL/FLORENCE. Benvenuti a Firenze! You will be greeted at the airport in Florence by one of our friendly English-speaking guides. Sit back and relax in your private accessible van as you are transferred to the hotel in the heart of the historical center. After check-in, a brief orientation and your first Italian lunch, head out for a visit to San Miniato al Monte, overlooking Florence. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or adventuring on your own. Unwind from a busy first day over a delicious Florentine dinner and then return to the hotel for the night.
Day 2: FLORENCE. Greet the day with breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, your English-speaking guide will pick you up for a full-day tour to the Duomo and Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Bargello National Museum, and the beautiful church, museum and piazza of Santa Croce. Enjoy lunch in an Italian café. At the end of the day, recall your favorite sights of the day over dinner in Santa Croce. Return to the hotel in Florence.
Day 3: FLORENCE. Enticing aromas lure you from sleep for breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, head out on a full-day tour to Mercato Centrale, San Lorenzo, Medici Chapel, the Church of Santa Maria Novella and Piazza della Repubblica. Fuel up over a mid-day lunch. At the day’s end, dine in style at a renowned Florentine restaurant. After dinner, rest in comfort back at the hotel.
Day 4: FLORENCE. Set the tone for the remarkable day to come with a delectable breakfast at the hotel. Spend the morning touring the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria. After lunch, relax at Palazzo Pitti and the stunning Boboli Gardens. Enjoy a traditional Italian dinner in the historical center before returning to the hotel for the night.
Day 5: FLORENCE. Wake up refreshed and hungry just in time for breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, spend the morning touring the unique Florence synagogue and museum and Casa Buonarroti, home of Michelangelo. After lunch in the historical center, visit the Gallery of the Accademia and the awe-inspiring and world-famous statue of David. Reflect on your remarkable day over another great meal and then tuck in back at the hotel with visions of great art, culture and food dancing through your head.
Day 6: FIESOLE. Rise and shine for a caffé and savory breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will be picked up for a special tour of the beautiful town of Fiesole. On this full-day outing you will visit the Roman Theatre, a fascinating archeological dig, the Civic museum and much more. We will break for a hearty mid-day lunch. Just when your stomach starts asking for the next delicious Italian meal, you will be escorted to dinner back in Florence. Sleep soundly at the hotel.
Day 7: DEPARTURE. Enjoy your last breakfast at hotel as you prepare to depart from Italy, both rested and inspired from your trip. An accessible van will transport you to the Florence airport for a safe trip home. Start planning your next Accessible Escapes vacation on the plane…

*Some meals are not included in the package price since certain restaurants do not offer fixed menu options. Our guides will escort you to all of the restaurants for lunch. Whenever possible, they will also escort you to the restaurants for dinner. If, for any reason, this is not possible, they will make other accessible transportation arrangements for you.
BEST TIME TO TRAVEL:
To enjoy more moderate temperatures and lighter crowds, visit Italy in the spring (March-May) or fall (September-November). While more crowded, summer is great fun with lively festivals and outdoor activities, and the winter holidays in December are simply stunning.
