6-DAY ROME TOUR
Day 1: ARRIVAL/ROME. Benvenuti a Roma! You will be greeted at the airport in Rome by one of our friendly English-speaking guides. Sit back and relax in your private accessible van as you are transferred to your hotel in Rome’s exciting city center. After check-in and a brief (and entertaining) orientation, enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon tour of two of Rome’s most famous sites: the Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps. Digest your first day in Rome over a delicious Italian dinner and then return to the hotel to rest in comfort.
Day 2: ROME. Start your day off right with an Italian caffé and breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, your English-speaking guide will pick you up for a tour (and lunch) in the heart of Rome’s historical city center. Visit the Basilica of San Giovanni, the Roman Forum and the world-famous Coliseum. Relax over dinner before retiring, full of great food and historical reflections, to the hotel.
Day 3: ROME. Fuel up with a hot breakfast for the special day ahead. After breakfast, spend the day touring Vatican City and the Vatican Museums with your English-speaking guide. Break mid-day for lunch at an authentic trattoria. At the end of the day, a delicious Roman dinner awaits. Sleep soundly back at the hotel.
Day 4: ROME. The aroma of fresh caffé and breakfast lure you from sleep yet again. After breakfast, get ready to shop or to simply indulge in the fabulous sightseeing of Rome’s renowned shopping district, which includes the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. You will, of course, enjoy lunch along the way. You won’t miss a meal in Rome if we have anything to do about it! Recount your favorite sights of the day over a classic Italian meal before a well-earned night of rest.
Day 5: TIVOLI. We bet you’ll be up and waiting for breakfast at this point in the trip. After breakfast, you will be whisked away for a day in the lovely Roman town of Tivoli. The ancient, mountainside villas are so charming that we will stay for lunch, but you will be safely back in Rome in time for dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: DEPARTURE. Relish your final authentic Italian breakfast at the hotel. The accessible van will pick you up and take you directly to the airport for a safe trip home. Start planning your next Accessible Escapes vacation on the plane…
